Dr. Michael Vetter is a graduate of Clemson University, where he received a B.S. in Biology. After graduation, Dr. Vetter continued on to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Upon receiving his D.M.D., Dr. Vetter entered active duty in the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy, Dr. Vetter did a year-long residency in advanced general dentistry and was the shipboard dentist on the USS Harry S. Truman where he treated over 6000 sailors.
In 2001, Dr. Vetter started his own private practice in Bristol, TN. In 2008, he sold his practice to join Dr. Kell Gallaher in creating The Gainesville Dental Group via the purchase of half of Dr. Gallaher's private practice. Dr. Vetter has over 500 hours of continuing education with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Dr. Vetter has three children and a wife who is also a dentist. He and his family are active in the community and attend Grace Episcopal Church. They are excited to be a part of the Gainesville community and Dr. Vetter looks forward to seeing you as a patient.
